Krishna House News

“Gainesville appears to be a very good place for spreading Lord Caitanya's message”
A letter to our community

Dear Krishna House family,

Please accept our humble obeisances.
All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!

There have been many happenings at Krishna House Gainesville, and we wanted to share the ongoing story with our community. ISKCON of Gainesville is unique in that it is a temple made up of younger and newer devotees, with an emphasis on spiritual education, the brahmachari experience, and devotee care. We’re excited to share what’s unfolding here with all of you.

Through a season of change, our desire to serve remains strong. Thank you for being part of this family—and for helping us carry this service forward with enthusiasm and care.

01How we're adapting

New ways of financial support

Alongside our outreach, we’re developing ways to sustain Krishna House and continue sharing what we love.

Prasādam on the move

Krishna To Go

Our campus delivery service offers a new way to bring vegetarian meals to students. Krishna To Go helps us continue sharing prasādam as our food service evolves.

More book distribution

We’re increasing our focus on book distribution, bringing Śrīla Prabhupāda’s teachings into more hands and creating opportunities for meaningful conversations.

A book can be the beginning of a connection—and an invitation to discover bhakti.

Supporting the service

Rental income

Developing rental income is another part of our effort to strengthen Krishna House’s financial foundation.

Alongside food service and book distribution, this offers a way to help sustain the home where our community gathers, learns, and serves.

Membership development

We’re inviting alumni, friends, and well-wishers to become monthly supporters of Krishna House. Regular contributions of any size help sustain spiritual education, devotee care, and a welcoming home for the next generation.
